Lakeland is the largest city in the Central Lakes area. When in the city, visit the International Sport Aviation Museum and the Polk Museum of Art. Prominent lakes in the area include Lake Jackson, Lake Marian and Lake Kissimmee, the third largest lake in Florida. Lake Kissimmee State Park provides nearly 6,000 acres of recreational opportunities, including camping, fishing and more.
